Babylon Nexus Pty Ltd, trading as VouchPay (“VouchPay”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. We respect your right to control your personal information and we handle it in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), as well as other applicable data protection laws.
By downloading, accessing, or using the VouchPay app or website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our services.
2. Who we are
VouchPay is a mobile-first trust network that helps subcontractors, suppliers, and businesses assess payment reliability before extending credit or committing to work. The entity responsible for your personal information (the data controller) is:

3. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to all personal information we collect through the VouchPay mobile application (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play), our website at vouchpay.app, and any related services, features, or communications we provide. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that may be linked from our services.
4. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account & identity information: name, email address, phone number, business name, ABN/ACN, job role, and login credentials.
- Profile & verification information: business details, trade or industry, and information you provide to verify your identity or business.
- Transaction & trust data: payment-reliability ratings, vouches, references, and feedback you submit or that relates to you.
- User-generated content: reviews, comments, messages, and any other content you submit through the app.
- Device & technical information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, and crash or diagnostic logs.
- Usage information: how you interact with features, pages viewed, and actions taken within the app.
- Communications: records of your correspondence with us, including support requests.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health, racial, or political information). Please do not provide sensitive information unless it is necessary and you consent to us collecting it.
5. How we collect your information
We collect personal information:
- directly from you when you register, complete your profile, or use features;
- automatically through your use of the app and website (e.g. analytics and device data);
- from other users who reference, vouch for, or rate a business you are associated with; and
- from third-party services and publicly available business registries where permitted by law.
6. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- create, operate, and maintain your account;
- provide trust, payment-reliability, and verification features;
- personalise and improve the app and develop new features;
- communicate with you, including service updates and support;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- send marketing communications where you have consented (you can opt out at any time).
7. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent; performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
8. How we disclose your information
We may disclose your personal information to:
- other users, where you choose to share trust data, vouches, or profile information;
- service providers who help us operate (e.g. hosting, analytics, customer support);
- professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement where required or permitted by law;
- a purchaser or successor in the event of a sale, merger, or restructure of our business.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
9. Third-party services
We use trusted third-party providers to deliver our services, including cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and communications platforms. These providers process personal information only on our instructions and under contractual obligations to keep it secure. The app stores (Apple App Store and Google Play) also process certain information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
10. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles and applicable data protection laws.
11. Data security
We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
13. Your rights and choices

- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your personal information;

14. Account & data deletion
You can request deletion of your VouchPay account and associated personal information at any time. To do so, use the in-app account deletion option (where available) or email us at support@vouchpay.app with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. We will delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons.
15. Children's privacy
VouchPay is intended for use by businesses and individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by other means. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
